Review on Jesse Jags “Jagz of all Tradez”
By Deeone for swaggaspot.net

Listening to this album one track after the other I already had the feeling like this is it. Jesse jags is not just a good and soft rapper he has also possessed a tremendous high tone which give you directly an impression of exceptionality. The young Chocolate city signed artist didn’t just proof he is a musician in his category but a musician with a strong sense culture which you can feel directly from every beat and tone of every tracks in the album.
He made sure he left the Hausa signature in most of his tracks which a lot Nigerians only get from the legendary El Dee and Zakki before now.
Another fantastic track from this album is Sugarcane Baby especially for people who thinks “GAN GAN “ is only used in Yoruba land or within Yoruba culture well, you should check this track out because its typical Hausa flavor which is very interesting.
All the tracks in the album was written and produced by Jesse Abaga himself which explain the strong intimacy between his lyric and beats that gives that perfect feeling strong synchronization and Harmony in his music. The tracks was perfectly mixed by Abuchi “The Don” Peters for Rytchus Era Productions “Recommended by swaggaspot.net
Another part of the uniqueness in Jago’s music is layers and layers of complex beats crossing each other in perfect synchronization and harmony God I wish I understand Hausa language so powerful and lovely to manipulate in music.
I will rate this Album 17 / 20
Good work Jesse Jags ABAGA keep the good work. |
